Tony Blair to be subject of second season of Making a Murderer

Netflix have announced that the former Prime Minister will be the new subject of the second season of their hit documentary series Making A Murderer.

The first series of the documentary has been something of a cultural phenomenon, but filmmakers have said they plan to ditch the story of Steven Avery and instead focus on a ‘truly chilling character that has haunted the global justice system for the last 15 years’.

“With his fixed rictus grin, hollow empty eyes and extensive list of excuses Tony Blair makes the perfect villain for the second season,” said a Netflix spokesman.

“It will be an intense ten episode journey investigating exactly how a seemingly normal boy from Edinburgh rose up the ranks into power and somehow avoided being prosecuted at the International Criminal Court.”

“Unlike the first season, the question isn’t ‘is he really guilty?’, but rather ‘how the fuck did he manage to get away with it?’ – viewers will literally be throwing up in their own mouths at the dramatic conclusion.”
