Remember the ‘fearless girl’ statue? Now the ‘charging bull’ sculptor says it violates his rights
It was unveiled on the eve of International Women’s Day to make a point about the lack of women on the boards of big corporations.
But the whole point of “fearless girl” appears to have been lost on the man behind the “charging bull” it stands opposite, who says the newcomer violates his legal rights by being put up without his permission.
To which the entirely appropriate response appears to be: “BULLSHIT!”

@juliamacfarlane I agree with him that it changes his work & also challenges it, but that's what happens when you make a public work. It becomes everyone's.

Still, there’s no helping some people.
“Fearless Girl” who in reality when moronically facing down a bull would be more accurately labelled “Dumb Girl” or “Dead Girl”. #NYC https://t.co/vgO7ZNAQax

That’s right, of course. You’re absolutely right.
