Outrage at BBC after royal correspondent goes “undercover” at Prince George’s school
The BBC’s royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell has come under criticism after dressing up as a 4-year-old boy and enrolling in Prince George’s £17k a year school in an attempt to get a scoop.
The BBC defended the decision, comparing it to journalists in war zones who are embedded with troops.
“Our brave correspondent will do nothing but eat, sleep and shit Prince George until he brings us the truth behind the education of the third in line to the throne,” said a spokesman.
“The only way he could get any closer is if he crawled directly up the Royal arsehole, but they’ve got a restraining order against that now.”
“I’m not sure what all the fuss is about,” said a baffled Witchell, 63.
“I had a lovely first day – I did potato printing this morning, had some fish paste sandwiches for my lunch and this afternoon there’s a drama lesson where I have to pretend to be a tree.”
