Arthur C. Clarke’s Mysterious World was a 13 part TV series on ITV made in 1980, exploring various strange phenomena like Stone Henge and the Loch Ness Monster, personally we remember it best from the cash-in book, which we used to sneak a peak at in the school library, marvelling at the pictures of spontaneous combustion.
However Richard Littler (best known for writing the Scarfolk book & website) has been exploring the TV version and picking out some of extraordinary contributors.
TV was a different time – they stuck ordinary people on instead of everyone being an Instagram model.
