A 3-year-old said something that raises more terrifying questions than it answers
Actor, Natalie Morales, shared a troubling photo of something 3-year-old Ruby had said about her imaginary friend.

As we wouldn’t want you to miss a single horrifying word, here’s what she said:
“This is my imaginary mum, Grateful. Her yellow eyelashes mean she can see in the dark – she only comes to see me at night-time.
It scares me sometimes, but I always want her to come back.
She has two babies in her belly. She’s 14 but can never have a birthday.”
People were naturally disturbed by this.
“She’s 14 but she can never have a birthday” is maybe the most horrifying phrase I’ve ever heard

Welp, no sleep for me tonight.
Thanks, Ruby. Tell your daytime mommy you need professional help.

And there were some possible explanations put forward.
Last words echo eternally for a ghost. They said they were helping her, correct her folly, but she knew something was wrong. They called her ungrateful and to appease them she cried, “no please, I am grateful!”

Somebody even drew “Grateful”.
I spent more time on this than I’d hoped. Here ya go!https://t.co/sfOIzy9cek pic.twitter.com/DQqBhAw2eo

Some people shared other terrifying things said by children.
Last week my niece said “sometimes I feel the stealers hug me in the night when I’m sleeping, but they always leave before I wake up.”

My young brother had an imaginary friend named “Jane”, he used to go to the kitchen at night to talk to her, one night I went to see what “they” were talking and he was saying “no Jane, I cant give you a knife to hurt my family” he was 3 years old!

My father passed away and a year after that during a car ride my child pretends to talk on the phone.
“Ok, see you then!”
“Who did you talk with?”, I ask.
“Grandpa.”
“Nice, what did you talk about?”
“He’s coming to visit us this night.”

Thankfully, someone lightened the mood.
I had an imaginary friend, called Mr Precious. I could only speak to him on the telephone….. turned out to be the local fire station, in Barrowby. The crew would take turns to listen to me waffle, for hours, every weekend. I was 4 years old.

But it was obviously just Ruby’s imagination, right?
