This video of a #DoTheShiggy challenge has gone viral because it’s a disaster
You may have spotted clips of people doing the #InMyFeelings challenge, also known as #DoTheShiggy. It involves dancing to Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’ in the style of social media comedian, Shiggy, seen in this Instagram post.
Plenty of people have successfully negotiated the slick moves, including some celebrities, such as Will Smith, Kevin Hart and Ciara.
But the attempt that’s proving the most popular is one that went spectacularly wrong. Popular Instagrammer Harsh Beniwal left his camera running in his car, intending to film the whole sequence as he moved alongside. It went well – until it didn’t.
It’s been viewed almost two million times on Instagram alone. It’s also been shared on Twitter, where everybody loves a bit of slapstick.

I award this fifteen Oscars and three Hewitts, the greatest honour this industry has available. https://t.co/bSMPsebBpq

Quite a lot of people thought it also worked well as a highly topical analogy.
Thanks to everyone who said the guy in the blue T-shirt is the Cabinet, the lamppost is the EU, and the car is the British electorate https://t.co/P3pAQYRygV
