7 times Jacob Rees-Mogg was owned after he said this about a 2nd EU vote
Jacob Rees-Mogg isn’t happy with Julian Dunkerton, the millionaire Superdry co-founder, after he donated £1m to the campaign for a second EU referendum.
Dunkerton said he supports the People’s Vote campaign because he saw a ‘genuine chance to turn this around’.
Here’s Rees-Mogg’s 7-word response.

‘The British voter will not be bought.’
You’d have thought he could see what was coming. But he didn’t.

The Leave campaign were found guilty of breaking electoral law by exceeding the spending limit by at least 10%, you monocle-wearing croquet twat https://t.co/StKVjbUn9P

So…. Brexit can't be bought like…
Your party paying off the DUP to cling to power?
Your party MPs promising £350M to the NHS?
Your party breaking the law spending £449,000 over the limit?

The £1m donation from the SuperDry guy is for polling. Because a ton of constituencies have ditched support for Brexit.
Polling doesn’t “buy” anything… except knowledge. Is that what you are anxious about, Mr Rees-Mogg?

I mean, Vote Leave exceeded the legal spending limit by 7%,and Leave only won 4% more votes, so technically the British voter was bought the first time – and not even efficiently https://t.co/NBbg7Gl7pY

Unlike you, this guy hauled himself up on a 40-quid enterprise allowance, created a global brand, along with 1,000s of decently paid jobs, and is giving back to society in numerous ways – see donation to blue Maine Foundation. And by the way, he's not buying anyone with polling. https://t.co/VwnuE5h5FT

PS
Couple of things Jacob. First, if you use The Sun to support your arguments, then they are pretty thin. Second, Vote Leave have already bought the referendum – see the report from the electoral commission. https://t.co/9bbwVa08YT
