At the time of writing, it’s 47 days to Christmas. They used to count in shopping days, but every day is shopping day now, so we know exactly where we are. Some people have already done their Christmas shopping and wrapped everything – we hate those guys – and some are glowering at anyone who mentions the C word – not that one. Others are secretly wearing their Rudolph socks under their work trousers – probably – I couldn’t possibly comment.
