Fox News won’t show its host’s NSFW meltdown so here it is for your viewing pleasure
You might remember Rutger Bregman, the Dutch historian who went viral after he used a session at the Davos World Economic Forum to take billionaires to task for not paying tax.

Which is brilliant, but that’s not why we’re here. This is, after Bregman was interviewed by Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson but it didn’t go as either man – presumably – expected.
Bregman so irritated Carson with his accusations of hypocrisy and his takedowns of Fox News (as well as attacking its beloved Donald Trump) that the Fox News man appears to suffer a total meltdown.
The interview didn’t air, but the good people of Now News have it – well, some of it – and it’s just brilliant.

Beautiful. Here’s what the Dutch historian had to say on Twitter after Fox News decided not to air the interview.
Good morning @TuckerCarlson, why didn't you air the interview with me last night? Couldn't handle the criticism? I think you should just show it. And try to resist the temptation to edit, I've recorded the full thing – including that moment when you start swearing profusely.

And here are some of our favourite responses.

This is some, not so appreciated, Dutch directness pic.twitter.com/yXmjg2KelV

It’s pretty telling that a Fox News anchor would be surprised that someone would do research before going on the show (They clearly don’t do research at Fox). When Tucker says “you don’t have Fox news.” and the interviewee just laughs and tells him about the internet….priceless

…totally owned by a Dutch historian.

Sorry for my fellow countrymen. Yes we can be rude and blunt if we want to. The dutch don’t go easy on b*llshit when talked into our faces #RudgerBregman #Foxnews

No, do not apologize. We NEED this. Can you package some more up and ship it here?

Tucker: “Why don’t you tell me how it works?” as Mr. Bregman is telling him how it works.

This is one of the best things I’ve seen in a very long time.

This is genuinely cathartic – it’s the simplicity of the takedown

Interesting that Tucker Carlson went on the attack when Bregman said he was a millionaire just parroting what billionaires have told him to say. Tucker is clearly very sensitive about all the “dirty money” he’s gotten for being a professional parrot.

Man, that was the moment when he lost his shit. Before that he was just stuttering, so you know there was a whole lot of cognitive dissonance he was trying to deal with. Classic.

I fucking love this guy.

Tucker Carlson later had this to say about the whole thing and frankly it just gets better and better.
