22 bright sparks react to the UK power cuts
Due to a fault at the National Grid, several areas of the UK experienced power cuts on Friday evening. With trains halted, traffic lights out and kettles unable to provide tea, you could be forgiven for thinking the whole thing was an exercise in restoring the Blitz spirit so beloved of Brexiters.
The event was certainly enough to spur on the Twitter comedians, with these bringing light into the dark.
