A satisfying reply to this American who asked why Britain still had a monarchy

Here’s a rather satisfying reply which came up in a thread asking about things you should never say to a British person.

Now we’re not sure that questioning the validity of the monarchy is so off limits for Brits but, anyway, here goes, shared on Reddit by DeHosure.

Makes you proud to be British, kind of. Although this comeback, shared by fellow Redditor 3moose1, well, this was of a different league entirely.

‘I asked for an “Irish Car-bomb” at a pub in Dublin. Bartender gave me two double shots of vodka, lit then on fire, and called it a “twin tower”.’
