This attempt to ask someone on a date went from bad to worse

It’s not easy asking someone on a date so people have a habit of coming up with ever more extravagant and interesting (and hilarious!) ways of doing it.

Although, back when we used to do this sort of thing, the furthest we got was ‘would you like to go on a date?’

Anyway, perhaps because that rarely (never) worked, this person thought they’d try this.

At least they ended with their head held high. Sort of.
