‘Ted Hastings’ helped Led by Donkeys send a message to the Met Police
The anger over Conservative gatherings last Christmas shows no sign of abating, with each fresh revelation stoking the flames.
Asked about the Downing Street parties, Boris Johnson starts talking of how No.10 staff "have worked blindingly hard" during the pandemic.
What the hell does he think everyone else has been doing? That's not an excuse to throw parties that break the rules.

If this was France, there would be tyres burning outside Downing Street by now. pic.twitter.com/bB3QNtu4Y9

London’s Metropolitan Police Force has repeatedly refused to investigate the alleged breaches of Covid laws, claiming there isn’t enough evidence and that they don’t prosecute Covid breaches retrospectively.
NEW: The Metropolitan Police say that despite photographic evidence of the PM potentially breaking social distancing rules by hosting a Christmas quiz they still do not intend to investigate claims of Christmas parties in Downing Street at this time.

not even Poirot or Sherlock Holmes could solve this tangled web of who attended what Christmas party if the only evidence to hand was multiple photographs and multiple witnesses

Hello @metpoliceuk – is this the Covid Tory party evidence you were(not) looking for? https://t.co/JuT1mrpxHG

The wonderful Led By Donkeys team took matters into their very creative hands with this Line of Duty-inspired message for the Met.
🚨"Who exactly does the @MetPoliceUK work for ma'am? Our citizens, or Boris Johnson?" 🚨

Those dulcet tones sounded very familiar, so Jim Pickard asked what we were all wondering.
is this the actual Adrian Dunbar from @Line_of_duty !?
— Jim Pickard (@PickardJE) December 15, 2021
Sadly, the team have picked up a trick or two.
We can neither confirm or deny that Adrian Dunbar is a member of our investigations team

Tweeters – like the passers-by in the clip – loved it.

Brilliant and you would think impossible to argue with…but with even more evidence. Either that was Adrian Dunbar or the impression is different class. @jed_mercurio https://t.co/V00CgAfqby

Ruarí O’Brien thought Line of Duty writer Jed Mercurio might have had a hand in it.
I’m not sure if @jed_mercurio was involved or not but kudos to @ByDonkeys for putting this together.
