This employer’s rant at someone who didn’t want to work weekends will have you hollering into next week

Latest in an occasional series, ’employer of the week’ goes to this person who took to Facebook to rant at job applicants because they weren’t meeting their outrageously lofty – and occasionally simply comic – expectations.

It went viral on Reddit after it was shared by Fragrant-Asparagus-2 and it’s quite the read.

The comment is a response to someone who went on Facebook to look for a job paying more than $14 (£10.50) an hour with weekends off.

Hilarious and infuriating in just about equal measure.

And it got entirely the responses it deserved.

‘Yes because the shift supervisor at Amazon or the day manager at Asda gives a flying fuck about your business plan …’
Salaried_Zebra

‘Someone apply for a job here and list every book you’ve read as your experience when asking for 21$ hr to be a cashier.’

‘Show them your certificate of completion at a hot dog eating comp.’
rustys_shackled_ford

‘Lol I love small business owners like this. I love seeing their posts like this. Then later they’ll post about how awful it is that their business failed because of amazon or some shit. Guess you should’ve worked harder.’
Sanchoforever1

‘Oh I should’ve mentioned. She owns a burger chain, not even a small business.’
Fragrant-Asparagus-2

‘Lol it gives the whole shtick another level …’
rustys_shackled_ford

‘😂 it doesn’t even make sense. She’s mad that the cost of labor is going up…that’s all.’
aaronisfromthefuture

‘Sure doesn’t understand markets. Maybe she shouldn’t be in business.’
