There’s a corner of Reddit called ‘cringetopia’ which, as the name suggests, is full of the most cringeworthy things

And they don’t come more cringeworthy than this, someone who asked the internet (for reasons we do not know) whether they should accept this offer of a date.

The deconstruction that followed was as outrageous as it was cringeworthy. Which is to say lots – an awful lot – of both.

We’re still shuddering.
