This BBC News exchange about the bells of Ukraine was a ray of light among the darkness
There was a beautiful moment on BBC News when presenter Ros Atkins asked Lyse Doucet, the BBC’s chief international correspondent doing such incredible work in Ukraine, about the golden dome which viewers can see behind her as she reports from Kyiv.
And her answer was incredibly moving, beautiful and terribly sad at the same time, a ray of light among the darkness.

This was so moving to listen to Lyse speak earlier. Her way with words in the context of her situation never ceases to amaze me. I read it earlier that someone said she never has a wasted word, so considered in all she says. What skill and empathy she has.
