People are sharing the eeriest things children have ever said to them – don’t read these 21 on your own
Remember that TV show Kids Say the Funniest Things? It’s true – they do say the funniest things, but sometimes it’s not funny ha-ha, it’s funny peculiar.
Lilah Sturges uncovered the motherlode of funny peculiar things said by children when she asked this question.
What’s the eeriest thing a child has ever said to you?
When my daughter was around 4-5, she calmly insisted that she had once been married to a man named Brad Huffington. When we asked what had happened to him she replied with a note of sadness, “He was lost at sea.”

Update: I mentioned this tweet to my daughter (who is now 21) and she reminded me that Brad lost a leg while serving in the Navy prior to his demise and that they had five kids together.

My 3yo would sit and stare at the same corner of the ceiling and say he was looking at the Hahas. Responding to questions, he said Hahas were all black, had no eyes, no face, but a big mouth, and sometimes they hang on the staircase too, and then we stopped asking questions.

My daughter, at 4, called me into her room at 1 AM and told me she couldn't sleep because she was worried about the boy in the corner. She pointed to the corner and said, "Look at his eyes, Mommy. I think he's really sick. Can you hear his mother crying?"

2 days after my father died, my son woke up in the middle of the night came to my room, held my face, and gave me an "Eskimo kiss" (rubbed noses). Then he said, "I'm okay, I just got here".
My father used to rub noses with me before bed every night when I was a kid. https://t.co/1D9hv5w9ir

OMG I HAVE ONE. This isn’t about my kid though. We were at a funeral and my aunt has passed. Our cousin was sobbing and her son, he looked at her, I believe he was 4 ish, and he said, I don’t know why you’re crying, you’re next. AND SHE WAS THE NEXT FAMILY MEMBER TO DIE

When my sis was 3 she kept telling me about her imaginary friend Ilze. Ilze “played” with us quite often. When I told my mom she was like “where did you hear that name?!” Turns out Ilze was the name of my moms stillborn she had between me and my sister, and never told us about

My son was restless. I sat on the bed & asked what was up. He didn't want to say.
Eventually he whispered "Andrew, the boy" said he would die soon.
I told him that wasn't the case.
I asked where Andrew was right now.
"Sat next to you"
I even looked, and I still shiver. https://t.co/p6XK03BDLw
