Armando Iannucci said this about Liz Truss and the more we watch, the funnier it gets
You might already have seen the entirely underwhelming speech by Liz Truss launching her bid to become the next prime minister and leader of the Conservative Party.
The only memorable thing about it was that she got lost trying to find the way out (of a room with one door).
My favourite part of the Liz Truss leadership launch was when she got lost leaving the room pic.twitter.com/wqRgtXXBEf

We mention it again because the great Armando Iannucci shared this observation about her speaking today, and the more we watch it, the funnier – and truer – it gets.
What I’m noticing most about Liz Truss is that her hands and arms are made of wood and are being controlled by someone under the podium. pic.twitter.com/axow9WVwbB

I love that, of all the people to enjoy this tweet, it's an actual top class ventriloquist 😅
