‘When a teacher becomes a police officer’
Comedian Jimmy Rees used to entertain Australian children with an owl sidekick named Hoot, but now he entertains adults worldwide with some very funny and clever sketches.
One recurring theme is the career change, and in this post he shows what a former teacher might bring to a new role as a police officer.
Oh, rain. It’s going to be a wet day timetable, Pete. All the criminals will be at the shopping centre for sure.
Teachers nodded along.
As a teacher this is particularly hilarious! I’m pretty sure you’ve worked as a teacher haven’t you Jimmy?! 😀

It’s more like herding animals in a zoo but it did make me laugh… thanks mate.

I had a good laugh. As a retired teacher I can tell you there were many times I felt like a police officer.

Absolutely hilarious. I’m sure they heard me laughing down the street!! In fact at 5.45 in the morning I probably woke everyone up. 😂😂🤣😂❤️❤️thank you 😍

As a teacher I believe we basically do the same job. The only difference is we don’t carry a gun. With my investigative skills when sorting out ‘incidents’ I could work for the FBI. Lol!
Rocky Bing
OMG. YES. Hilarious…and strangely accurate.🤭

A YouTube user named Stacey P. had a request.
You don’t disappoint Jimmy always makes me laugh. Okay now do when a police officer becomes a teacher.
That might be something like this.
“You do not have to say anything, but, it may harm your grade if you do not mention when questioned something which you were supposed to have learnt for homework.
Anything you do say may be given in evidence to the external examination board.”
