The woman with the @liztruss Twitter name is handling tweetmageddon like an absolute boss
Every winter, when the inevitably disappointing John Lewis advert drops, an American named John Lewis, who has the Twitter name @johnlewis, has to field a mass of incorrectly tagged tweets, meant for the retail giant.
He handles it beautifully.
We don’t know whether she learnt from John’s public display of awesomeness or she’s just a natural, but a woman named Liz Trussell, with the Twitter name @liztruss, has embraced the inevitable mistake people have been making with her Twitter name – especially since Liz Truss won the leadership election.
Here’s how Liz Trussell has demonstrated her own leadership qualities.

She even had the best response to a now-deleted message from the Swedish prime minister.
Green Party MP Caroline Lucas spotted her own error, and had a savage burn for the new PM.
Tweeters have loved watching Liz Trussell make lemonade from her social media lemons.
Enjoying watching @liztruss living her best life replying to all the people mistaking her for @trussliz … pic.twitter.com/GiLqa4uImB

People keep tagging a random person instead of the incoming British prime minister and she's rolling with it lol pic.twitter.com/3VpKzV5Qel

WORLD LEADERS: The new Prime Minister of the UK and Northern Ireland is @trussliz. Do not send your congratulations to @liztruss as she is my pal’s sister in law, has no plans to lead the country, and her mentions have gone completely John Lewis. Looking at you, Sweden. pic.twitter.com/EizB5qP8r7

Shout out to @liztruss, who is having their very own @JohnLewis moment.
Also, likely would be a better PM than @trussliz, who couldn’t even secure a sensible Twitter handle.

We have our fingers crossed for this –
There must be a way the new Prime Minister can be appointed via Twitter and the Queen accidentally appoints @Liztruss instead.
