The unfortunate response to this stolen bikes appeal is the very essence of insult to injury

First of all we hope the mum who had her kids’ bikes stolen gets them back.

But second – and it’s quite a big second – the reason we’re sharing this is because of this most unfortunate (and yet presumably very well intentioned) response.

It’s just gone viral after it was shared on Twitter by @isitreallymoira.
