This BBC News man had an item about a massive snake but is terrified of snakes … so he did this
To quote the great Indiana Jones, ‘Snakes? Why did it have to be snakes?’
We mention the great man after BBC newsreader Ben Thompson – no fan of snakes, by all accounts – had to do a news item about a flipping great big snake being wrestled into submission in Florida.
So he did this, and you surely won’t see a funnier news story this week.
The clip went viral on Monday after it was shared by fellow BBC journalist, Clare Casey.

You’re okay Ben, we think they’ve gone now.

Final word to the man himself.
The flashnote I never want to receive from you… ‘I’ve added a python oov in the newsbelt’ 🤣
