The Weather Channel’s hurricane simulation is already terrifying enough – then along comes category 5
Our thoughts go out to everyone in the US being impacted by Hurricane Idalia, which plowed into Florida’s Gulf Coast before heading towards south-eastern Georgia this week.
We mention it again because of this Weather Channel simulation of hurricanes and their various categories, which was already terrifying enough before it got to category number 5.
‘The difference between hurricane categories,’ said BeneficialSpirit7 who shared it.

And just a few of the things people said about it.
‘This dude really stood out in a category 5 hurricane.’
lolersk8s‘He didn’t even seem winded by it.’
cfslade‘Yooo dude get outta there!’
AgreeableCarrot‘That dude doesn’t skip leg day.’
fergasma‘I live in Florida and have lived through many storms including hurricane Andrew.
‘Weird he didn’t mention storm surge which is a HUGE problem. Last one that hit us here in SWFL had homes submerged under 4 feet of water and the Hooters restaurant in the beach actually floated away into the ocean along with most other structures ‘
tovasfabmom‘I want my house made out of that guy.’
