Politics lee anderson Reform UK
Lee Anderson’s been made chief whip of Reform UK and of all the hilarious takedowns this one said it best
As you’ll no doubt know by now, Nigel Farage has entered the House of Commons for the first time as an MP along with his four Reform UK colleagues and very excited about it they were too. So excited they did this.

And among the announcements the nascent party made was the appointment of its very first chief whip.
BREAKING: @LeeAndersonMP_ reveals on @GBNEWS he’s just been appointed the new Chief Whip of @reformparty_uk by @Nigel_Farage

Now obviously it’s obviously traditionally been a very important role, enforcing party discipline and all that, but there was something about Reform UK that lent the appointment a comedic edge. More than an edge, if we’re honest.
It’s 5 people, all of whom are basically the same person. Why do they need a whip?

This is like a bloke all alone in a one man dinghy calling himself the admiral

It’s 5 of them. One deputy, one party leader, on C-whip, and two MP.
I love to see the reshuffle

Difficult job that whipping the other three to vote the same way as their leader

But we reckon this person said it best …

And finally, this.
Quite a bold move making your chief whip someone who left his last two parties. Loyalty isn’t his obvious strength. https://t.co/mUYcEojX7u
