Politics donald trump us election
Donald Trump is the oldest US presidential candidate in history, and the jokes are ageing like a fine wine – 23 of the best
The Trump election campaign has been largely run on the premise that Joe Biden is too old to be the President – which he is.
However, it’s a line made hugely ironic by the fact that Donald Trump would be even older than Biden is now, by the end of a four-year term. Even Ron DeSantis, while running to gain the Republican nomination, pointed out the problem.
Ron DeSantis: “The presidency is not a job for an 80-year-old. Donald Trump would actually be older on Jan. 20, 2025 than Biden was on Jan. 20, 2021.” (2023) pic.twitter.com/6wuWQe0rAp

Since Joe Biden revealed that he won’t be on the ticket, Trump’s age and obvious struggle with his memory and concentration have become far more of a problem for the party.
Suddenly, he is looking very, very old. pic.twitter.com/0D76bJJuLH

Trump is just too old to be president, he should step down. Don't you agree? pic.twitter.com/hmMoI9jEE1

Now the Republicans are the ones saddled with a candidate who can’t make a clear argument or finish a sentence. https://t.co/XpJESP613A

It’s a fact that really hasn’t escaped anyone’s attention – and the reactions have been exactly as brutal as you’d expect. Karma has entered the chat.

What a grave miscalculation by the Trump campaign.
They just spent the last 6 months making the case that an elderly man shouldn’t be president.
Who’s the old guy now? pic.twitter.com/GR0vbACOBp

I finally agree with Donald: It would be a huge mistake to elect the oldest candidate in American history. #KamalaHarris2024

Trump is much diminished in his old age. He appears to think he’s still running against Joe Biden. The GOP will need to reckon with Trump’s rapid cognitive decline. pic.twitter.com/2911hQjWv5

78 year old Donald Trump would be 82 when he announces he’s never leaving office.

We have to talk about age: Donald Trump is too old to serve as President. He rambles. He keeps forgetting names. His vocabulary is in decline. He has trouble finishing sentences. Many experts think he's demented. Clearly unfit to serve as commander-in-chief.
