This mansplainer who tried to use War and Peace to make a political point ended up schooled into next year and his payoff made it even funnier
In our mansplainer hall of fame this is surely somewhere close to the very top.
It’s a man who basically entered Twitter folklore after he tried to use War and Peace to make a political point and ended up schooled. Not only that, he tried to talk his way out of it and it just gets better and better.
‘Entire internet summed up in this exchange,’ said @jelani9 over on Twitter about the exchange which was sent wildly viral by @katrinagulliver who said: ‘Still laughing at this’ and it’s absolutely top drawer stuff.
It all began when @1Marchella went on Twitter to tell people to educate themselves on the ‘follies of communism’.
Ooh, get him with his personal collection of more than 500 books. Well we’ve got news for him, comics don’t count.
Later he had this to say about it, before (apparently) deleting his account.
Fair play to him, we don’t doubt he knows what narcissism means.
To conlude …
