This shop’s response to a customer who gave it a 1-star review because a homeless man sat outside is a salutary lesson for anyone who needs it

We’ve featured no end of one-star reviews on these pages, invariably because they’ve been totally outrageous and got just the response from the business they were reviewing.

But they don’t come more outrageous than this. And rarely is the response so brilliantly put.

It’s a review of a donut shop in San Diego from back in the day.

But it didn’t stop this customer who posted this review about a donut shop in San Diego.

And the store owner, Brad, had simply the perfect response, a salutary lesson for anyone who needs it (and one that feels especially important at this time of year).

Manages to be heartfelt, polite, and an absolutely brilliant takedown of his crappy 1-star review, all at the same time.

‘It’s easier to be nice than to be a dick,’ said beerbellybegone who shared it on Reddit.
